Pachuca - A 55-year-old referee died after an angry player headbutted him for
calling a foul during an amateur football game in central Mexico,
authorities said on Tuesday.
The prosecutor's office in the state of Hidalgo was still searching
for the player, two days after Sunday's incident in the village of
Santiago Tulantepec.
The player headbutted the referee after he was called for a foul.
The assailant fled when a brawl erupted between the two teams.
