Neymar: Coutinho would be a great fit for Barcelona

Cape Town - Brazil star Neymar believes compatriot and Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho is the kind of player who would fit in perfectly at Barcelona.

The Selecao duo were in action in Uruguay on Thursday for a World Cup qualifier that saw the visitors clinch a 4-1 victory, thanks to a hat-trick from Paulinho and a strike from Neymar.

The Blaugrana forward has praised his Brazilian team-mate and is convinced that he would be a great addition to Barca, despite recently signing a new contract with Liverpool.

"A Premier League player that I would like to have in Barcelona is Coutinho," Neymar said in an interview with PokerStars.

"I believe Philippe Coutinho is a player that would totally fit in Barcelona."

Coutinho signed a new contract at the Reds in January, and it only expires in 2022.
