Cape Town - May Mahlangu has signed a three-year contract to join Romanian giants Dinamo Bucuresti in a deal worth close to R126 000-a-month in wages.
Dinamo are one of Romania's most successful teams, having won the league title 18 times and have a number of successes in domestic cup competitions as well.
Mahlangu reportedly turned down offers during the recent transfer window to join clubs from across Europe, and it now appears he has bagged a lucrative deal to play for the Red Dogs.
The Bafana Bafana international had been in limbo since his short-term deal with Sint-Truiden in the Belgium Pro League expired.
The 26-year-old was said to have been on the radar of the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs in the South African Premiership.
Nonetheless, it has been confirmed that Mahlangu will play his football for Dinamo in Romania's top flight for at least the next three seasons.
