What a start to the second half from Sevilla!

Sevilla are getting forward in numbers only really leaving two back to mark Sturridge as they put Liverpool under pressure.

Sevilla are shading it in the opening encounters and are looking like the more settled side at this point.

Unai Emery has urged his players to go out and write history as Sevilla look to clinch a record third successive Europa League title and secure qualification for next season's Champions League group stage. Sevilla finished 7th in La Liga and while that does mean they have qualified for next season's Europa League Emery will be hoping his charges earn a place in Europe's Elite competition with a win in Basel tonight.
In his pre-match press conference Jurgen Klopp stressed how important it would be for Liverpool to keep Sevilla's key men out of the game as much as possible while down playing his personal record in finals over the last few years. The mood at Anfield over the off season will almost certainly hinge on tonight's performance with Liverpool needing to win tonight to gain entry into European competition next season.
Marco Andreolli and Michael Krohn-Dehli remain sidelined for Sevilla who rested the bulk of tonight's starting lineup in their 3-1 defeat to Athletic Bilbao over the weekend, only Adil Rami has reprised his role from Sevilla's final La Liga clash.
In team news Liverpool line up as expected with Henderson and Origi returning to make the bench, Liverpool will be captained by James Milner tonight but Jordan Henderson is expected to lift the trophy should Liverpool overcome Sevilla to win the Europa League.
