The WORST celebration in history

2014-07-07 14:14
Cape Town - Sport24 has discovered the worst goal scoring celebration in the history of soccer. Read on, if you're brave enough.

Dom Dwyer.

That name will go down in soccer's history for it was he that nearly killed the beautiful game.

Made famous by Ellen, Miley, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian and now Dom Dwyer. That's right, we're talking about "the Selfie".

Mr Dwyer scored the opening goal during the Major Soccer League fixture between Sporting Kansas City and the Chicago Fire and then did the unthinkable.

That's right. His goal scoring celebration was to take a selfie.

Here's another the "official" view.

Dwyer duly received a yellow card. We think it was for bringing the game into disrepute.

Let's hope FIFA puts a stop to this hooliganism.

We recommend watching this goal celebration to restore your faith in the beautiful game.
