Cape Town - Cristiano Ronaldo winning the Ballon d'Or would "be almost boring" according to German ace, Thomas Muller.
The Telegraph report that a win for two-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo would not please the Bayern Munich and Germany star.
Ronaldo faces competition from Lionel Messi and Germany and Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
"If it were to happen that Cristiano Ronaldo wins, then it would be almost boring," Muller told reporters.
"In that case, maybe it would be an idea to reconsider the whole award and just send the title by post."
After starring for club and country last season, Muller insists winning the Ballon d'Or is not on his agenda.
"I've already given my opinion - it's a nice event, but these individual titles are not so important to me.
"I see myself as a team player, which is why these votes don't count much for me." added Muller.
