Musona's move in jeopardy

Johannesburg - Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim have confirmed that they are exploring options aside from Kaizer Chiefs for striker Knowledge Musona.

The Soccer-Laduma website reports, The Zimbabwean international’s future has been the topic of speculation throughout the off-season, but last week it was believed that Amakhosi had secured a season-long loan deal for Musona.

However, the move was thrown into doubt over the weekend, and Hoffenheim have revealed that they are putting back-up plans in place in case the deal with the Soweto giants falls apart.

“We’re still in contact with Chiefs, but we haven’t heard anything for a few days now, so we’ve started looking for other options for Knowledge should his loan with Chiefs fall through,” Hoffenheim international scout Lutz Pfannenstiel told Soccer Laduma.

Should Musona return to Chiefs, it will be his third stint with the club.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
