Hummels: I like it here

Cape Town - Dortmund defender Mats Hummels insists he will only consider leaving the Bundesliga outfit for a club which has a specific style of play.

Hummels was heavily linked with a move away from Westfalenstadion during the off-season, with the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona credited with an interest in the 25-year-old.

However, the former Bayern Munich man appears to be content with life at Signal Iduna Park, despite Dortmund's disappointing start to the Bundesliga campaign.

He told Kicker: "If a club with a bigger reputation than Dortmund were to make a move, but I don't like the way they play football, I wouldn't even consider a move.

"At Dortmund, the style of play is exactly like I want to play football."

Reflecting on Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Hamburg, he added: "After this weekend's defeat versus Hamburg, you could say that we've really missed our start to the new season in Bundesliga.

"You always go through phases like this, so we shouldn't be driving ourselves crazy over it.

"In midfield alone, we are missing seven players due to injury. At some point, it's impossible to cope with this bad luck."
