Accrew - Midfielder Andre Ayew will miss Wednesday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Togo, the Ghana Football Federation said on Monday.

The Marseille star was injured in Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Uganda and is expected to be out for two weeks.

However, Ghana could welcome back Asamoah Gyan, who missed the Uganda match through injury.

Ghana are top of Group E with one game remaining as all four sides can still qualify for the finals in Equatorial Guinea.

The four teams are separated by just two points with Uganda and Guinea trailing Ghana by a point and Togo bottom, another point further back.
