Ghana defender out of Togo qualifier

Acrra - Ghanaian defender John Boye has been ruled out of Wednesday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Togo in Lome because of an ankle injury.

The 27-year-old Boye, who plays for Turkish side Erciyesspor, picked up the injury during training on Monday in Accra.

In their Group E, Ghana have drawn 1-1 against Uganda while Togo were beaten 2-1 by Guinea in the first qualifier.
