Cabaye not happy in Paris

Cape Town - PSG midfielder Yohan Cabaye has expressed his frustration at not getting regular game time at the French champions and admitted he may have to look at his options.

The former Newcastle playmaker has been unable to establish himself as a first team regular since making the switch back to his home country.

He is concerned his lack of playing time could cost him the opportunity to represent France at Euro 2016.

Cabaye's career at PSG so far was typified by Sunday's 2-0 win over Nantes, in which he came off the bench for the final 14 minutes of the game and had little time to make any impact on the game.

He has started just 18 games in all competitions this season and said he would have a conversation with France coach Didier Deschamps about how his lack of appearances might affect his chances of playing for his country.

"It is a distinct moment in my career," Cabaye told Canal Football Club.

"I have never been through this before. You have to accept it but also try to change it. It is very important for me as I want to play at Euro 2016.

"I need to speak to the national team coach and my representatives to see what is best for me."
