Bizarre goal catches 'keeper off guard

Cape Town - Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord scored a bizarre goal in their group stage Europa League match, straight from a throw-in.

Sven Van Beek scored the opening goal in the 47th minute when he whipped in a long throw that caught the Standard Liège 'keeper Eiji Kawashima off guard as he scrambled to keep the ball out.

A melee of players in front of Kawashima attempt to head the ball , but it by passes all of them and ends up in the back of the net.

Jonathan Viera equalised for the Belgian side 18 minutes later, but it was Feyernoord who had the last impact on the match, Elvis Manu riddled througha crowed box to hand the Dutch side the win.
