Bayern to dominate Germany

Berlin - Bayer Leverkusen's Rudi Voller says Bayern Munich are unstoppable on their march to a third straight Bundesliga title and expects them to dominate the German league for years to come.

Bayern are currently peerless in Germany having backed up winning the 2013 Champions League by claiming the Bundesliga title with a record seven games to spare last season.

For the last two seasons, their domestic rivals could only hope to finish second to Bayern and ex-Germany coach Voeller can see no end to their stranglehold on the Bundesliga title.

Pep Guardiola's Bayern resume the current campaign at second-placed Wolfsburg on January 30 and they will go 14-points clear if they collect their 15th victory in 18 league matches.

"The gap to Bayern is never going to be closed again," Voller, Leverkusen's director of sport, told German magazine Kicker.

"You can scout as well as you want, but you're never going to get into a position where you can get even close to matching them.

"There are just worlds lying in between."

Bayern are on course to complete a hat-trick of titles and are already 17-points ahead of of third-placed Leverkusen, reinforcing Voeller's gloomy prediction.

Bayern have built on their record-breaking season in 2012/13 when they become the first German team to win the treble of Champions League, Bundesliga and German Cup titles.

Under Guardiola, they scooped the domestic league and cup double last season and the Spaniard has made the side tactically unpredictable as they remain unbeaten in the German league this season.
