Paris - New York Red Bulls striker Thierry Henry would never consider playing for France again even if new coach and former teammate Laurent Blanc asked him to.
Henry, France's record scorer with 51 goals, announced after his country's World Cup debacle that he was quitting international football after more than 12 years with the national team.
In an interview with sports daily L'Equipe on Friday, the 32-year-old Henry was asked if he would return if Blanc asked him to and replied "it's finished ... I will not come back to the French team again."
Henry was part of the France World Cup squad that went on strike at a team training session, in protest at striker Nicolas Anelka being thrown off the team for insulting coach Raymond Domenech.
