FSS draw Sundowns in semis

Johannesburg - Giant killers Free State Stars will be hoping for another Nedbank Cup upset when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi-finals of the knockout competition in the first week of May.

Stars were drawn against the Brazilians in Johannesburg on Monday, while SuperSport United were pitted against Amazulu.

Ea Lla Koto bagged their second upset of the tournament, beating Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in Polokwane on Saturday, after knocking out defending champions Orlando Pirates in the previous round.

SuperSport and Sundowns were drawn as the home teams for the semi-final clashes.

The venues for the fixtures will be decided at a later stage.
