Zlatan agent: It's not Man United

Cape Town - Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent has done little to clarify the mystery of where his client will be playing his football next year, denying reports that it will be at Old Trafford.

The Swede, whose prolific career at Paris Saint-Germain came to an end in May, confirmed this week that he has decided which of the several clubs he has been linked with will be securing his services next season.

A number of reports suggested that new Red Devils manager, Jose Mourinho, was preparing a player/assistant-manager offer for the 34-year old. The player's agent, however, has denied that Zlatan is heading to Manchester.

"There are some clubs in England, a few clubs in Europe, some outside Europe, but everyone assumes he must go to Manchester United and it’s not true," Mino Raiola told Swedish publication Expressen.

The statement will do much for AC Milan's confidence of having one of their most beloved players return to the San Siro; the big striker has been reportedly linked with Cristian Brocchi's struggling Rossoneri.

"We could well pull a surprise at the end. Will he retire? Absolutely not.

"Ibrahimovic is a star and the club that gets him doesn’t need to pay a transfer fee. That means Ibrahimovic, who just finished a record season at PSG, can get an extra-high salary. He is in a good bargaining position.

"It is not important to get something done quickly, as I care only about arranging a move based on quality.

"We are not in a hurry. It’s about doing the right thing at the right time. Let’s see what happens."
