Cape Town - Club Brugge's Zimbabwean international midfielder Marvelous Nakamba is believed to be attracting interest from English Premiership giants Liverpool.
There have been reports in England that Liverpool are struggling to get Emre Can to sign a new contract, with the German international midfielder said to be eyeing a possible switch to Juventus.
This could open the door for Nakamba, although there is nothing concrete yet to suggest a move is on, Belgian publication Het Nieuwsblad claim that Nakamba could potentially become a Red next season.
"The 23-year-old was snapped up this summer after an excellent spell with Vitesse in the Eredivisie, and now (Liverpool manager Jurgen) Klopp could make a move to bring him to the Premier League."
The midfield hard-man started his career at Zimbabwean club Bantu Rovers before signing for French second tier outfit Nancy in 2012.
It was from there that he was snapped up by Dutch top-flight side Vitesse in July 2014, spending three successful years in the Netherlands before signing a four-year deal for a reported £4 million fee with Belgian club Club Brugge ahead of the current season.
Nakamba made his senior Zimbabwe debut in June 2015 as a second-half substitute in a 2–1 win against Malawi.
