Yerry Mina not on his way to Everton - agent

Cape Town - The agent of Yerry Mina has denied reports that his client is set to sign for Premier League side Everton.

The Barcelona defender struggled for game time in La Liga this past season, making just six appearances after his move from Palmeiras in January.

The 23-year-old former Deportivo Pasto and Santa Fe centre-back was reportedly being chased by a number of European clubs before the World Cup.

His solid showing in Russia with Colombia increased the interest in his services, with Yair Mina telling El Mundo Deportivo Yerry is considering his options.

Yair Mina said: "It is not true that Yerry has signed for Everton.

“Yerry has many teams who hold an interest in him but before we can think about that, we need to know what Barcelona plan to do.

“When we hear from the club, we will make a decision.”

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
