Yaya's agent drops another exit hint

Cape Town - Yaya Toure appears to be edging closer to a Manchester City exit with his agent confirming they have started negotiations with other clubs.

The midfielder's current contract at the Etihad Stadium runs until the end of the 2016-17 season, but it is being widely reported that he is not keen on working with Pep Guardiola, who will replace Manuel Pellegrini as City manager this summer, again.

Guardiola was Toure's manager when they were at Barcelona, but the Ivory Coast international was mostly used at centre-back and joined City in 2010.

His agent Dimitri Seluk had already admitted that his client will seek a transfer if the club don't offer him a new deal and he has now gone a step further by claiming they have opened talks with other clubs.

"From this moment we start to discuss with different clubs about Yaya going there in the summer," he told The Sun.

"City don't do anything concrete. Yaya has given everything for the club and we don't feel that this situation is the right way to show how much they appreciate him."

Toure has been linked with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain while there is reportedly also interest from one of China's super clubs.
