Cape Town - Liverpool right-back Nathaniel Clyne has admitted that team-mate James Milner is a source of unending irritation to him.
Clyne is annoyed at the ease with which the midfielder has taken over the left-back role after being converted in the wake of a string of shocking performances from Alberto Moreno.
The England international said: "He seems to make it look easy! I've trained my whole career to be a full-back and he comes in and makes it look easy!
"He's enjoying it and also getting on the score sheet. He's a very experienced professional - every team needs a James Milner in their side. He can play in any position."
Clyne has been forced to withdraw from the Three Lions squad with a knee injury, but his knack for giving his all and rarely being injured has earned him a nickname from Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
"The manager has called me a machine in the past," he revealed.
"I'm not entirely sure why, it's probably because I play in loads of games and rarely get injured or come off with knocks.
"All I try and do is my best for the team and try not to complain about anything."
