Wenger confirms Ramsey's availability

Cape Town - Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez will be available for Arsenal's pre-season fixtures against Viking FC and Manchester City.

The Gunners continue their pre-season schedule in Scandinavia following a successful tour of the United States, have recorded victories in friendlies against a MLS All Star team (2-1) and Chivas de Guadalajara (3-1).

Wenger, who has been testing various combinations in the absence of first-team regulars, revealed his delight at the return of Ramsey and Sanchez for the fixtures set to take to place in Norway and Sweden.

"Not all of [the international players will be back], But Ramsey will be involved, Sanchez will be involved," he told Arsenal Player.

"The latest players coming back will not be involved, that's Ozil, Giroud and Koscielny, they are the last ones and I don't think they will be involved on the tour on Thursday, but all the others will."

Wenger's side face Viking FC on Friday, 5 August, before facing the Citizens two days later in what could prove to be their biggest challenge in pre-season.
