Cape Town - Watford have brought in Peruvian winger Andre Carrillo from Benfica on a season-long loan deal with the option to purchase.
The 26-year-old winger helped Benfica win the treble last season, and has previously worked with Hornets boss Marco Silva when the pair were at Sporting Lisbon.
Carrillo becomes Watford’s 10th signing of this transfer window, following the acquisition of Andre Gray from Birmingham.
Meanwhile, another recent signing, midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah from Chelsea, is 'absolutely buzzing' after receiving his first call-up to the England national team.
"I got the text and was smiling from ear to ear. It's a realisation of a dream, it's all happening quite fast really. It hasn't hit me yet. I need to call my family and speak to them. They'll be over the moon!"
Watford next welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Vicarage Road on Saturday with Silva's men aiming to continue their impressive start to the English Premiership season.
