Watford scout Mali's Malle

Cape Town - Ally Malle, the highly rated Mali teenager who starred at the last U17 World Cup, is interesting English Premier league side Watford.

The teenager was voted third best player of the tournament following Mali's defeat by Nigeria in the final. Watford are said to have recognised his talent as a young forward with good awareness and an ability to bring his team-mates into the game.

The 17-year old is fast and technically skilful and has had trial spells with clubs in Germany and France but is keen on a move to the Premier League. News reports from London say contact has already been made.

However, despite interest from top English Premier League sides such as Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool, it looks like he could join Watford.

The information comes after clubs like City, Paris Saint-Germain, the Gunners and the Reds have all shown an interest, but Watford have opened discussions with his family.

The player turns 18 next month but has already got caps for the senior team.
