Van Ginkel in dark over Chelsea future

Cape Town - Forgotten Chelsea man Marco van Ginkel is in the dark over his future with the Premier League leaders, as his loan spell with PSV draws to an end.

Van Ginkel, who also spent time on loan at AC Milan and Stoke, has heard nothing from Blues manager Antonio Conte as the season nears its conclusion, the Dutchman's agent Karel Jansen revealed.

"It's not clear what will happen, it is still early," Jansen was quoted as saying by the London Evening Standard.

"The current season is still running so nothing has been decided. Discussions over whether he is part if Chelsea's plans are still to be had."

The 24-year-old midfielder arrived at Stamford Bridge to much fan fare from Vitesse in 2013, but his maiden campaign in England came to an abrupt halt after he suffered a serious knee injury that kept him out of football for seven months.

Reports suggest that Fernebache have now joined PSV in the race to sign the on loan Dutch international who has scored 7 goals in 11 games that has convinced PSV to make the deal permanent.
