Cape Town - Chelsea youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek insists that Manchester United are fortunate to have secured the services of manager Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho was in charge at Stamford Bridge when Loftus-Cheek made his senior debut for the Blues in a Champions League outing against Sporting Lisbon in 2014.
The midfielder also believes that Chelsea fans will give Mourinho a positive reception despite having made the move to Old Trafford.
"I don’t think it will be weird facing Mourinho but obviously he is a great manager and I think Man United are lucky to have him," the 20-year-old told Goal.
"So even though he is Chelsea, even though he has moved to United, Chelsea fans still love him.
"We are going to try and beat Man United when the time comes. They have always had a good team, Man United have always been up challenging for the title so they could be, the team to beat yes."
Loftus-Cheek also praised United's signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic which he believes will be a boon to not only United, but the league as a whole.
