Toure winner saves Man City

Manchester — Yaya Toure scored an injury-time winner to secure a 2-1 victory over Swansea in the Premier League on Saturday after a frantic finish at the Etihad Stadium.

Bafetimbi Gomis thought he had earned a draw for Swansea when he equalized in the 90th minute with a powerful rising shot that beat Joe Hart at his near post from a difficult angle.

But City recovered as Toure won it with a deflected shot in stoppage time to put the host provisionally back atop the standings, ahead of Leicester on goal difference.

Wilfried Bony gave City the lead in the 26th minute with a header against his former team.
