Tipsters: Revenge for City at Spurs!

Cape Town - Top English Premiership billing of the weekend is beyond all dispute: leaders Manchester City, with their 100 percent record, visiting second-placed Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

It is a particularly interesting scrap, as statistics from last season suggest Spurs have a strong chance of halting the runaway City freight train - they won the equivalent fixture 4-1 at White Hart Lane, and also grabbed all three points (2-1) in the trip to the north-west.

Still, the 2015/16 situation doesn’t “fool” the Sport24 panel: four see City earning a seventh straight victory, and the other three fancy a draw.

Each round of the 2016/17 Premiership campaign, a group of our staff has a crack at predicting the results - do the exercise yourself, if you like, and see how you compare afterwards.

Compiled by Rob Houwing (Newcastle-partial; he swears the Championship is more competitive), the others are Garrin Lambley (Everton), Lloyd Burnard, Tashreeq Vardien, Maano Nekhavhambe and Lynn Butler (all Man Utd) plus Craig Taylor (Liverpool).

Three points are awarded for an entirely correct scoreline, and one for right result.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
