Sissoko confident of Spurs success

Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko is convinced he will prove to be worth his hefty price-tag despite struggling to hold down a regular starting berth under manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The 27-year-old joined Spurs in the off season on a lucrative five-year contract from Newcastle United for £30 million, rejecting the advances of Everton in favour of a move to London.

Questions were raised from the Lilywhites faithful over his price-tag and subsequent role with the Premier League side due to the form of first-team regulars in his position.

However, the France international feels he still has much to contribute after only six league starts since his arrival at White Hart Lane and is confident his long-term future is with Pochettino's side.

"My future is at Tottenham and I'm trying to give my best. I'm trying to learn because I have to get used to a new style of playing in a new team," he told beIN SPORTS.
