Real Madrid to make move for Spurs' Alli

Madrid - Real Madrid are reportedly planning to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur's goalscoring central midfielder Dele Alli at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.

Madrid have previously signed both Luka Modric and Gareth Bale from Spurs, while arguably the club's most successful import, Cristiano Ronaldo, is another star the side brought in from England, when he signed from Manchester United in 2009.

According to the Mirror, Alli would find it very difficult to turn down a move to the UEFA Champions League holders. The 20-year-old, who is also said to be a target of Paris Saint-Germain, already has an impressive scoring record for Spurs.

In 70 matches, the player has hit the back of the net 19 times, with his latest efforts coming in the form of a brace against Watford on New Year's  Day.

Alli signed a new six-year contract last September, in a deal said to be worth nearly £60,000-a-week.

The publication claim that Madrid are seriously interested in the Milton Keynes-native and may make a move following at the end of the season. The Zinedine Zidane-coached outfit are reportedly planning to shake up their squad with James Rodriguez and Isco among the possible departures.

Madrid are currently barred for one transfer window from signing any players after irregularities in singing under-aged players and will have to wait until the end of the season to make any new additions.
