Cape Town - Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero have won the Premier League's Manager and Player of the Month awards for April.

Leicester were unbeaten in April, winning three and drawing one of their four matches en route to their incredible title triumph.

A hard-fought 2-2 draw with West Ham was followed up by a 4-0 master class against Swansea City. In all, Leicester scored 9 goals in April, conceding 2 and keeping three clean sheets.

Aguero scored in all five of his side's April fixtures, including all three goals in City's win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Either side of that, goals against Bournemouth, West Brom, Newcastle and Stoke helped the striker stake a claim for this season's Golden Boot award.

Tottenham's Harry Kane leads the way on 25 goals, while Aguero is tied with Leicester's Jamie Vardy on 24. The trio all have one game remaining.
