Cape Town - Manuel Pellegrini was full of praise for Kevin De Bruyne after the Manchester City midfielder starred on his return from injury against Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Belgium international had spent the past two months out with a knee ligament injury, but made his comeback this weekend, scoring City's second goal on the way to their 4-0 victory at Dean Court.
And, speaking after the game, Citizens boss Pellegrini said: "Kevin was a very important player for our team before and I think he returned today in a very good shape.
"I did not want him to play more than 55 minutes, but I hope that from now until the end of the season he will continue with the same performances we are used to."
