Cape Town - Mesut Ozil says he is happy and settled in London after once again being quizzed about his future with Arsenal.
The German midfielder has previously said that he will make a decision on the next stage in his career only once the Premier League season is completed and when Arsene Wenger has announced his plans.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Ozil added that the Gunners are one of the biggest clubs in the world, but stopped short of committing himself for another campaign.
Having joined the club from Real Madrid in 2013, the 28-year-old has gone on to make 156 appearances for the club, scoring 31 times. His current contract expires in June 2018.
"Arsenal belong as one of the best clubs in the world and London is a great place to be, a great city to live in," Ozil told Sky Sports.
"As I have always said in the past, I feel comfortable here. I am happy.
"As I have said before, in the summer we will talk but right now Arsenal stands in front of any player and I respect that.
"So after the season we will talk and then we will make a decision from there."
With Arsenal having endured a difficult campaign, Ozil has received his fair share of criticism, but says he pays no attention to what people say - other than his manager, whose future is also very much up in the air.
"The expectations are always high, which I guess is normally a positive, you could say," he said.
"But I know what I can do and it does not affect me really. I have played for Real Madrid, I have played for Germany and I have had praise and criticism throughout my career and it has only made me stronger.
"For me what is most important, as I have always said, is the manager's opinion, because when it comes from him you know it's the truth, be it positive or be it negative.
"There are some people that like me and some people that do not, but I give no worth to those opinions, really. They can have them, but I know what I can do. My stats show that I do give my all and I give my best."
