Moyes waiting for the right job

Cape Town - David Moyes says he will return to football management as soon as he gets an offer that interests him.

The former Preston North End, Everton, Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland manager has been out of work since stepping down from his post with the Black Cats following their relegation from the Premier League.

But the 54-year-old says it won't be long before he is back, as he waits for the right club to cross his path.

Some reports in the press suggested a return to Everton following the sacking of Ronald Koeman, while he was also mentioned as a potential replacement for Gordon Strachan as Scotland boss.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Moyes said: "I'm enjoying my time off at the moment, I got one or two things on the go at the moment, and I've had some offers.

"If any of the ones I really want come up I will look forward to taking them.

"I can just say there are things that are ongoing, and hopefully, before you know it, it won't be too long until I'm back in football."
