London - Jose Mourinho Junior, the goalkeeper son of the "special one", said on Friday that he has signed a scholarship deal with English second-tier outfit Fulham.
The 16-year-old, who has previously been part of the youth teams at Real Madrid and Chelsea when his father - now manager at Manchester United - had been in charge, signed a two-year contract with Championship Fulham, which is just down the road from Chelsea.
"Proud to say that I signed my two-year scholarship deal with Fulham FC... Thank you to everyone who supported me, I'll make you proud." Mourinho junior said on Instagram, alongside photographic evidence of him signing the forms.
Mourinho senior replaced Louis van Gaal at the end of last season at United.
