Cape Town - Manchester United attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan says he is still adapting to life in the English Premier League.
The Armenia international had a tough start to life in England, where he initially struggled to get going.
But, after being challenged by manager Jose Mourinho, the former Borussia Dortmund star has emerged as one of the club's star players this campaign.
"What have I learned? I think the pace, the quickness and the strength because, being here, you have to adapt to the English Premier League and to the football," Mkhitaryan was quoted by FourFourTwo.
"This is what I am doing now. I am really different on the football pitch. I try to be like a beast or a monster! I fight for the ball and try to do my best.
"Outside of the pitch, I am more quiet and more humble, and I don't like to be very aggressive or anything like that."
United next face Southampton and Crystal Palace in the league before contesting the Europa League final against Ajax Amsterdam that will see the winner clinch an automatic spot in next season's Champions League.
