Cape Town - Mexico international Hirving Lozano insists he is not aware of an approach from Premier League side Manchester City, despite reports of a transfer.

The Citizens are reportedly looking to sign the winger from Pachuca and immediately send him out on loan to PSV for two seasons, but the 21-year-old seems unaware of such talks.

"I only just heard about it when they asked me," Lozano told reporters, according to ESPN. "I've not been told anything.

"I've got to take it calmly and speak about it all with the [Pachuca] directors."

Lozano was on target for Mexico on Thursday as they thrashed Honduras 3-0 in their World Cup qualifier at Estadio Azteca.
