Cape Town - The agent of unsettled Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has commented on recent reports linking his client with a move to Spanish side Sevilla.
At the end of last season, the 21-year-old looked destined to become a key figure for the Red Devils after scoring 20 goals and registering 16 assists across all competitions - following his £36 million move from AS Monaco.
However, upon the arrival of Jose Mourinho this season, the France international has struggled for form, and the Portuguese manager has urged him to take the example of Henrikh Mkhitaryan - to earn himself a place in the starting XI.
But with his clear discontent with a bit-part role, after playing 63 games for the club last season, interest has been growing across Europe for his services, most notably from the Europa League Champions.
His agent Philippe Lamboley has now come out to comment on the speculation after Mourinho revealed he'd like the Frenchman to remain part of his squad.
"We're studying the Sevilla option very closely," Lamboley told ESPN. "Sevilla is a very good club, in a good position in La Liga.
"They're in the Champions League and have a great coach. That's what I can say."
