Cape Town - Liverpool winger Sadio Mane is relishing the team's current form after dominating Arsenal in a 4-0 Premier League victory at Anfield on Sunday.
The Senegal international was one of the four goalscorers against the Gunners, netting the Reds' second goal in the 40th minute as they went on to claim a comfortable win.
Jurgen Klopp's charges have now won four consecutive games across all competitions, after the opening weekend draw against Watford in the league, and Mane is excited by what he has seen from the team thus far.
“I think today we played great football, from the beginning and to the end. We also created many chances and the key of the game was we scored most of them,” Mane told the club's official website after the victory on Sunday.
“Honestly I think it’s a great moment for us. It’s always important to win because that makes more confidence in the squad and that’s how we feel now. We’re going to try to work hard and try to win the next games.”
