Lozano knows nothing of Man United talk

Cape Town - Pachuca winger Hirving Lozano claims to be unaware of a potential move to Manchester United, despite his club confirming they have received approaches.

The 20-year-old enjoyed a fine season with Los Tuzos, scoring eight goals in 23 appearances to help them win the Liga MX's Clausura 2016 championship.

The Mexican outfit revealed earlier this week that they have a confidentiality agreement with 12 teams, and reports have suggested that United are one of those interested in acquiring the services of Lozano.

However, the Mexico international insists he is focused solely on the Copa America Centenario, where they face Jamaica in Group C on Thursday, and is choosing to remain calm amid talk surrounding his future.

"I'm relaxed, [Pachuca] hasn't told me anything," Lozano said in a news conference. "After the tournament, we'll see. First, I just want to concentrate on this tournament."

Pachuca vice-president Andres Fassi believes it will be difficult to hang onto their youth product for the Apertura 2016 tournament.

"We want him to stay but sometimes it is difficult to believe that he will remain if important things come up," Fassi told ESPN.
