Cape Town - Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo will be out of action for at least one month after fracturing a bone in his back, following the Reds' pre-season tour of North America.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of the 19-year-old's talents, and the news will no doubt disappoint both player and manager - especially after he withdrew from the European Under-19 Championship in Germany to train with the Reds' first team in pre-season.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the promising teenager will be out until next month after suffering the injury, which has reportedly come as a result of a heavy pre-season workload.
Ojo, who is one of Europe's brightest prospects, arrived at Anfield in 2011 from MK Dons as a 14-year old for a reported fee of £2 million - after the Reds beat Chelsea in the race for his signature.
Since making his debut for Liverpool in January this year, Ojo has appeared 11 times for the first team, scoring one goal.
