Lallana chests the ball and on half-volley strikes it past Cech.

Sanchez takes the free-kick but it hits the wall and goes out for a corner.

20' Both sides making decent half chances with the 'keepers not really making any saves. Liverpool need to threaten Arsenal's defence much more. It is an inexperience defence which Liverpool must take advantage of.
Arsenal must do something about their defence sooner rather than later...
14' Clumsy touch from Ramsey as he is a clear goal scoring opportunity. Moreno jumped to defend a cross which falls perfectly into the path of the Welshman.
However, Ramsey stood on the ball and it just went away from him. He was 12 yards away from goal.
7' Ramsey now with space in a dangerous area and lets loose a strike only for his effort to well handled by Mignolet.
5' Clyne's ball for Mane is too strong as Liverpool look to attack from the right.
Arsenal counter-attacks and Clyne is out of position which Iwobi uses to his advantage. However, nothing coming off the attack as Klavan clears the ball after Iwobi's strong touch.
Mane is really some talent that needs to be watched by Arsenal's young defence.

Sanchez gives the ball away cheaply and Coquelin scurries to get the ball back and concedes a free kick on Mane.

Firmino has a snapshot at goal but he fires the ball wide. Liverpool manage to work up some good passes and prove that they can also prove to be dangerous.
Arsenal have all the momentum now. The goals seems to have given them a lift and the Liverpool players look slow and tired in comparison to their opponents today.
GOAL!!! Walcott makes amends and after a quick counter attack by Arsenal, he slots the ball past Mignolet to score the opener. Excellent finish from Theo Walcott! Arsenal 1-0 Liverpool.

Ramsey goes for glory and attempts to catch Mignolet out. The Liverpool goal keeper was way off of his line but the Wales international hits the ball way over the crossbar.
Mane looks to be Liverpool's biggest threat at the moment. He's full of energy and has made some very positive runs forward but his Liverpool teammates are too slow on the ball and can't pick him out.
Iwobi bursts forward for Arsenal but his through ball went to no one and Mignolet cleans up easily. Arsenal are on the front foot again!
Liverpool do well to work the ball forward but Clyne's shot is fired straight into the safe arms of Petr Cech. Arsenal still dominating but Liverpool look to be getting back into the game after a slow start.
Chambers and Holding have started positively in the Gunners defence so far today. Wenger will hope they can see this sort of confidence through the 90.
