KP trolls Manchester United, Mourinho

Cape Town - Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen had a fantastic Sunday - at the expense of Manchester United and their new coach, Jose Mourinho!

Pietersen, obviously a Chelsea fan, was watching as the Blues thrashed United 4-0 at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League.

Pietersen was particularly critical of United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, who was taken off at half-time after not having the greatest of matches.

The match saw Mourinho return to Stamford Bridge for the first time since being named as Manchester United manager.

In Pietersen's defence, he was not the only one having a go at Mourinho and United on what was a tough day for the Red Devils.

Social media was alive with memes and jibes throughout the 90 minutes after Chelsea had taken a 1-0 lead inside 30 seconds.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
