Jese determined to get Stoke into Europe

Cape Town - Stoke City striker Jese Rodriguez is eager to help the club get into the Europa League even though he'll return to Paris Saint-Germain next year.

The 24-year-old joined the Potters on a one-year loan deal in the off-season and is aiming to make the most of his stay at the Britannia Stadium.

Jese has set his sights on pushing the team up the table, and has already got off the mark with a goal in his first three appearances for Mark Hughes' side.

"My goal is to help Stoke enter Europe," he was quoted as saying by the Stoke Sentinel.

"For this we have to continue working as we have done, this way the victories will arrive. If I can have a good year then I'm sure that big things will happen.

"(I have adapted) much better than expected, really. The club and my team-mates have been great since my arrival and are always available to help me in whatever I need. I really am happy with the decision to move here."
