Ibe praises Cherries support

Cape Town - Bournemouth winger Jordan Ibe says he enjoys the atmosphere at the Vitality Stadium, and feels many Premier League teams will struggle to cope with their style of play this season.

Ibe joined the Cherries during the off-season for a club record fee of £15 million from Liverpool as a replacement for Matt Ritchie, who joined Newcastle in the Championship.

After signing a lucrative four-year contract with Eddie Howe's side, the England youth international has enjoyed regular first-team action - featuring in all seven of the club's Premier League fixtures.

And despite not contributing a goal or an assist, his performances in Howe's tactical set-up has drawn praise from the Cherries faithful - whom he claims is the key factor in the side's growing confidence.

"The fans are like a 12th player on the pitch, Every game at home, I feel we can win. I feel great there and so do the rest of the team," he told Vital Football, ahead of their clash against Hull City.

"From the first minute, when we're pressing teams, it must be difficult for sides to play here, with players getting in your face. We need to keep that going and show the same attributes against Hull.

"It will be a difficult game but playing at home is a positive so, hopefully, we can get the three points, I've not watched them but every team in the Premier League can win games."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
