Howe not interested in Saints job

Cape Town - Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has ruled himself out of the running to replace Ronald Koeman at Southampton.

The Cherries boss is widely considered as the best 'young' manager in English football and is reportedly the Saints number one target since the announcement that Koeman will be joining Everton.

However, Howe is keen to lead the club into their second Premier League campaign after confirming he's relationship owner with Maxim Demin as strong as ever - with no intention of jumping ship since he signed a contract extension with the club in October.

In April when Howe was linked with a move to Everton after increasing speculation of Roberto Martinez future with Everton, the 38-year old said: "Hopefully, in work first and foremost.

"You have got to win games to stay in work and I am fully committed to this job here. I don't think I have to reaffirm my commitment here every week which seems to be a regular pattern."

Since becoming a manager at the age of 31, Howe remarkably lead the Cherries from the cusp of dropping out of League football to the English Premier League.
