Cape Town - Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has attributed his team's winning start to the renewed sense of positivity Antonio Conte has brought to the Blues camp.

The Belgian, who provided the assist for countryman Michy Batshuayi's equalising goal against Watford on Sunday, feels that the club's new boss has instilled a genuine desire to win at Stamford Bridge.

Diego Costa popped up to score with mere minutes left on the clock, poking the ball through the legs of Heurelho Gomes to seal the London club's second consecutive Premier League win.

In an interview with the club's official website, Hazard spoke of the current culture in the side.

"The attitude is fantastic, even in training everyone wants to win games," the playmaker said. "That is why now we are winning.

"It's always difficult to come back when they score but we did great. We played a good second half and we scored two great goals - at the end I think we deserved to win.

"It's just the start of the season but if we want to stay at the top we have to win. Both Manchester teams won, so we had to win and we did."

New signing N'Golo Kante also weighed in on the topic.

"We know the coach has his idea of football and he tries to teach it to us," Kante said.

"We try to win all the games like he wants, he's a good manager, he believes in his team and we try to give everything for him.

"It is early, we have a good team, but of course we want to be the champions," the former Leicester city midfielder added.
