Foxes set for Ndidi deal

Cape Town - Premier League champions Leicester City are reportedly close to completing the signing of Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi in the January transfer window.

The Foxes have been extensively linked with a move for the 20-year-old Genk midfielder in recent weeks, and according to Sky Sports, a deal worth £15 million has been agreed with the Belgian club, pending a work permit and a medical.

Ndidi featured during his side's 2-0 victory over rivals Gent, before confirming to the local media that he had played his last match at the Luminus Arena.

On Thursday, Ndidi's team-mates at Genk wished him well for the future.

Omar Colley wrote on Instagram: "Good luck to Ndidi in Leicester. We're gonna miss you."

Leon Bailey added on Snapchat: "Good luck in Leicester City bro, we will meet again."
