Cape Town - Everton manager Ronald Koeman is tempted to lure Liverpool striker Christian Benteke to Goodison Park, according to widespread reports.
Benteke has been struggling to break into Liverpool starting XI and Reds manager, Jurgen Klopp, is looking to cash in on the Belgium forward.
However, Everton will have to go into a bidding war for the striker's services against Sunderland, who look to offer the 25-year-old a lifeline.
The Blue corner of Merseyside are eager to find a replacement for Romelu Lukaku as Chelsea aim to bring back the stocky forward to Stamford Bridge.
According to the Mirror, Benteke will remain at Liverpool if the target evaluation of £30m is not met.
Benteke played second fiddle to Daniel Strurridge last season while Klopp also opted to re-position Roberto Firmino into a striker ahead of Benteke during 2015/16 campaign.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail has also revealed that Benteke will even consider a loan stint elsewhere if no club can match Liverpool's price tag.
