English Premiership Team of the Week 12:

1. Robert Elliot (Newcastle United) - An unlikely candidate for this weeks number one but FIVE saves which ensured the Magpies climb out of the relegation zone.

2. Chris Smalling (Manchester United) - Another clean sheet for the Red Devils and Smalling has been the heart of United's defence line.

3. Scott Dann (Crystal Palace) - A hard fought win for Allan Pardew's Palace and Dann's headed effort proved to be pivotal at Anfield.

4. Ryan Shawcross (Stoke City) - Captained his side to hand Jose Mourinho's Chelsea yet another defeat.

5. Andre Wisdom (Norwich City) - Not many tipped City to get one over Swansea but put a well orchestrated shift against the Welsh side. Wisdom was one of two stand out players in the side.

6. Jesse Lingard (Manchester United) - The Manchester United youth product has had quite a week after bright performance against CSKA Moskow then topping it off with a goal against West Brom over the weekend.

7. Manuel Lanzini (West Ham United) - A well taken goal by the Argentine as he makes it seven goals in seven matches.

8. Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool) - The Brazilian continues to shine in the Liverpool shirt but for how long can he carry the team as far as goals is concerned??

9. Jonny Howson (Norwich City) - The midfielder's all important goal ensured the Carrow Road side secure a shock victory over Swansea City.

10. Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) - TWELVE goals in the EPL for the striker as he continues to keep City in the top four.

11. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) - About a month ago Kane was struggling to find the back of the net and within 2/3 weeks is in the top 10 EPL scorers list.
