Dyche: We're in good shape

Cape Town - Burnley boss Sean Dyche is hoping for a return to winning ways in his side's home clash with Tottenham this weekend.

With the Clarets sitting in relative safety in the Premier League in 13th place, with 32 points from their 29 games played, Dyche has declared himself satisfied at this stage of their campaign.

A run of seven games without a win means though that Burnley are in danger of slipping down the standings, and with the majority of the club's wins coming at home, this match represents a chance for then to record a positive result against one of the title-challengers - not done since they beat Liverpool in August.

Only Chelsea and Tottenham have a better home record this season, with Dyche telling the Lancashire Telegraph: "Generally I'm very satisfied, we don't try and prove points, but it's fair to say no one gave us a chance, and we're in good shape.

"That's a so far story, good shape now doesn't guarantee you anything, but it's fair to say we've shown we can take these games on, home and away.

"Obviously away has been a bigger challenge, and we've shown we can get points on the board.

"We've deserved it and earned the right to get the points we have, if anything, I'm scratching my head that we haven't got more with things that have gone against us.

"We hope maybe there's a bit of balance to that in the remaining games, but we've got to keep working hard, keep producing performances, being as detailed as we can to continue getting points on the board."

Kick off is at 16:00.
